We often hear this sentence from parents. A good play vehicle often makes several children happy at the same time. It is "passed on" from big to small. To ensure that younger siblings, cousins, friends' or neighbors' children are also safe on the road, it's all about quality!
That is why the quality and thus the safety and durability of the Spiel + Kind articles is an essential aspect of product development for our designers.
What Kettcars were there actually?
Some names will certainly be familiar to you!
Great popularity experienced especially the kettcar "Daytona Air"
. Due to its high robustness, the great design and the hand brake, which allows quick braking of the rear wheels, this kettcar has always been a perennial favorite! Suitable for children from 4- 8 years with a height of 100-130cm and a maximum of 50kg.
KETTLER has always paid attention to the safety of its vehicles for children. For example, the switchable freewheel on the "Daytona Air" prevents the pedals from spinning when things speed up or go downhill. The stable seat prevents "slipping around" and offers optimum support with a comfortable seating position. The installed pneumatic tires allow almost silent driving on almost all surfaces. Unlike models such as the "Spa" or the kettcar "Melbourne", as well as the normal "Daytona", which have plastic tires.
Because of the deep profile, the Kettler pedal car is a true off-road vehicle that can be driven without problems, for example, in the forest.
So the "Daytona Air"
- was and still is the best KETTLER kettcar, a bestseller that will not be forgotten so quickly.
Similar to the "Daytona Air", especially the " Barcelona Air", "Dakar Air
" and the "Suzuka Air"
were equipped with pneumatic tires.
The "Barcelona Air"
and the "Dakar Air"
are also kettcars designed for the somewhat larger. Both pedal cars are suitable for 5-10 year old children with a height of 110 -140cm.
From 2023 KETTLER will again bring a new kettcar to the market. Whether it will be as successful as the Daytona Air we cannot predict yet, but what we can say is: the kettcar is coming back!
There will be more information soon - so stay tuned!
